Founded 2010. Still building.
Omkar Enterprises is an interior contracting firm based in Mumbai. Since 2010 we've completed over 100 projects — apartments and full-home renovations, corporate offices and clinics, cafés and retail outlets, and classrooms and laboratories for institutions including the University of Mumbai, Bombay College of Pharmacy, and Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College.
We hold the contract, we run the site, and we hand over a finished space. Some projects begin with drawings from the architects we work with. Many begin with somebody else's. We're equally comfortable either way.

Founder & Principal Contractor
Name to be supplied · Since 2010Started the firm with two carpenters and a single residential contract in 2010. Sixteen years later the same rule holds: the person who priced your job is reachable, and a supervisor is on your site every working day.
Site engineers and supervisors are our own; trade teams — carpentry, electrical, plumbing, finishing — are directly engaged crews who have worked with us for years, not day labour hired per job. Design, where a project needs it, comes from a small circle of partner architecture and design firms. We don't claim an in-house design team, because we don't have one — we have long-standing collaborators, which to an architect reads as it should: we build, we don't compete.
Sixteen years of repeat business buys relationships a new firm can't: plywood, laminate, hardware, stone, glass and electrical suppliers who hold stock for us, extend honest credit, and deliver on the day they say. On a fit-out, lead time is money — this network is a material part of what you're buying.
